Intan Jaya—Satgas Ops Damai Cartenz-2025 conducted a dialogue-based patrol by visiting local Papuan food vendors at the Intan Jaya Regency market on Tuesday (25/3/2025). This activity aimed to ensure that the community’s security and order (kamtibmas) remained conducive.
Deputy Head of Ops Damai Cartenz-2025, Kombes Pol. Adarma Sinaga, S.I.K., M.Hum., explained that this dialogue-based patrol was a manifestation of the Police’s presence in providing a sense of security and comfort for the people of Intan Jaya
“Intan Jaya Regency is often disrupted by the KKB, so the presence of security personnel can provide a sense of security for the residents,” said Kombes Pol. Adarma Sinaga.
Head of Public Relations for Ops Damai Cartenz-2025, Kombes Pol. Yusuf Sutejo, S.I.K., M.T., also urged the community to play an active role in maintaining security in the area. He emphasized the importance of cooperation between security personnel and various community elements.
“The peace in Intan Jaya Regency is inseparable from the cooperation between security personnel and the community. The role of religious leaders, community leaders, youth leaders, women leaders, and tribal chiefs is crucial in creating a sense of security and peace,” he stated.
This patrol is expected to strengthen ties between the Police and the community, as well as maintain security stability in Intan Jaya Regency.”
