Pegunungan Bintang – Personnel from the Damai Cartenz-2025 Operation carried out security measures during the Sunday service at Bethel Indonesia Church in Oksibil District, Pegunungan Bintang Regency. Their presence aimed to ensure a smooth and safe worship experience for the congregation.
Deputy Commander of Damai Cartenz 2025, Police Commissioner Adarma Sinaga, S.I.K., M.Hum., emphasized the importance of a humanistic approach in every security operation. He stated that the presence of security personnel is not only to maintain safety but also to foster a harmonious relationship with the local community.
“We want to show that the Damai Cartenz Task Force is here not just for security but also to build a close relationship with the community,” said Police Commissioner Adarma Sinaga. He expressed hope that through active involvement in religious activities, the bond between security forces and the people would grow stronger.
Securing Sunday services is part of the Damai Cartenz-2025 Task Force’s efforts to create a safe and stable environment in the Pegunungan Bintang region. Previously, task force personnel were also involved in other religious activities, such as delivering a sermon before Tarawih prayers at Al-Ikhlas Mosque in Oksibil, with the aim of strengthening ties with the local Muslim community.
The Oksibil community has welcomed the presence of the task force in religious activities. Many residents feel safer and more comfortable during worship and appreciate the humanistic approach taken by security personnel. This initiative is expected to further strengthen cooperation between the community and security forces in maintaining peace and order in the region.
