Yalimo, Indonesia – Officers from the Indonesian National Police (Polri), as part of the Task Force Operation Peace Cartenz 2025, once again demonstrated their commitment to the well-being of communities in Papua. On Friday (March 7), they distributed essential food supplies to residents in Yalimo Regency.
The Head of Public Relations for Task Force Operation Peace Cartenz 2025, Chief Commissioner of Police Yusuf Sutejo, S.I.K., M.T., stated that this initiative is part of an ongoing humanitarian program aimed at assisting those in need.

“We want to show that the government is present among the people of Papua—not only in law enforcement but also in social care. We hope this aid can help ease the burden on residents and strengthen the bond between the police and the community,” said Chief Commissioner Yusuf.
During the activity, officers handed out aid packages containing rice, instant noodles, and other essential supplies. With warm smiles and open hands, they personally delivered the assistance, which was met with gratitude from the local residents.
One of the recipients, Mathius, a Yalimo resident, expressed his appreciation for the police’s concern and support.
“This assistance means a lot to us. Thank you to the officers who care about our community,” he said.
Beyond distributing aid, Task Force Operation Peace Cartenz 2025 personnel also took the opportunity to engage in dialogue with residents, listening to their aspirations and concerns. Such initiatives aim to foster stronger relations between law enforcement and the local community while promoting a more stable and peaceful environment in Papua.
The Task Force Operation Peace Cartenz 2025 is not solely focused on law enforcement against armed criminal groups (KKB); it also emphasizes a humanitarian approach through social programs that directly impact Papuan communities.
Through these efforts, authorities hope to increase public trust in law enforcement and contribute to making Papua a safer, more peaceful, and prosperous region.
